Place your order before 12pm (Midday) Monday - Friday, to receive it the next working day, if you choose our faster delivery option. If your order is placed at the weekend, we will despatch your order on Monday. Not including Bank Holidays and other related UK Public Holidays.
By placing your order by 12pm, we can make sure that the products you have ordered are in stock, rarely are they out of stock, but if they are, Varilight Products can make them for you the same day, so we can despatch them to you for next day delivery.
Please note if you need your order in a hurry, by choosing the 1st Class Royal Mail delivery option, these are not guaranteed next day delivery, so your best choice would be DPD Local Next Working Day or an DPD Local Next Working Day Timed Delivery option at checkout.
What happens if I place my order after 12pm?
If the items are in stock, which they usually are, there is a good chance we can despatch your order to you for next day delivery. In the event that there is zero stock of a product, Varilight Products, the manufacturer, will make them the following morning, for despatch that day.

Please remember, the MySwitchShop office is closed at the weekend, so if you require a Saturday or Sunday delivery, please make sure you place your order on any day in the week before noon on Friday.
Occasionally Royal Mail delivers on a Saturday, but this is not a guaranteed service.
Please note: DPD Local may deliver up until 7pm, although if your order is being delivered to a business address, they will make sure it is delivered before 5pm.
If customers choose DPD Local as their courier option, their order will be delivered within a 1 hour delivery window the following day. This service also allows the customer to change delivery time or even date, and also where to deliver the item to, via an automated email and text message from DPD Local directly. This service also includes, ‘Follow My Parcel’, which enables you to view the progress of your parcel on a map. DPD Local also supplies a notification when their driver is just 15 minutes away!
Delivery is free with DPD Local Next Working Day service for UK Mainland, Scottish Lowlands & Wales, if you spend £100 or more per order.
Please note if you need your order in a hurry, you are best to choose the DPD Local Next Day or Timed Delivery option at checkout, as 1st Class Royal Mail delivery is not a guaranteed next day delivery service.

All our delivery methods require a signature when delivered, (apart from Royal Mail) please make sure you are in when it is delivered, or alternatively choose a different delivery address that we can deliver to; You are also able to add extra delivery details in the comments box at checkout, but please remember if you ask us to leave it with a neighbour or in a safe place of your choice, it will be your responsibility if it ‘wanders off’. Please avoid asking us to leave it in your dustbin!

Prices of International delivery are subject to change (at time of ordering) depending on weight and destination of consignment, although the above prices are based on the weight of your order. International Delivery may take an extra day to despatch, and may take from 2 to 9 days to deliver depending on destination.
Customs Charges must be paid by the customer. 1StopElectrics/MySwitchShop are not responsible for these costs, nor can we give a refund, or can you cancel your order, if your parcel/order is being held with customs awaiting payment. We accept goods that are faulty/damaged for a period of 30 days providing the following:
Please contact us and we will generate a returns number and postage paid document that you can stick to your parcel. Make sure you make it clear on the returns form if you want a replacement or refund. Please note using this method ensures that you won't have to pay for return delivery. If you decide to choose to send it back by another method, we can NOT refund this return delivery cost to you. You can also contact us if you have an account, simply log in and go to the correct order relating to your return and follow the instructions and email us directly from there. The quickest way to receive a replacement, is to buy the product you need on-line, so we can send it to you immediately. If the product is faulty and still on the wall/ or in its position and is unsafe to remove, please wait for the replacement to arrive, and swap these products over, sending us back the faulty product.
Please make sure the product(s) are well packaged so will not damage in the post. Return the goods to the address shown below. Please enclose a completed copy of our returns form, which can be downloaded by clicking HERE. We will credit your card after we have received your goods and will send you a credit note for your records.
When returning faulty products for replacement only, please write on returning parcel "REPLACEMENT", this will ensure a quicker turn around. Please fill in all of the required fields on the returns form, as this will greatly reduce the time taken to process your return. If you do not wish to place a new order to receive a replacement, please send back the faulty item to us with a completed returns form, asking for a replacement to be sent to you or a refund to be made. Please note this method can take longer to process. Please also remember to retain your proof of posting.
Special "Bespoke" items CAN be returned if they are faulty, but not refunded, because you will be entitled for a free repair by myswitchshop if they develop a fault, within Varilight's 1 year warrenty period.

All products returned for exchange or refund due to them not being required must have NOT been fitted, be in their original packaging, include all accessories and instructions and be in a resalable condition. Unwanted products must be sent back within 14 days (10 working days) of you receiving the original order in order to obtain a refund or exchange. We suggest either sending back with recorded delivery or courier, your return delivery cost will not be refunded. The quickest way to receive a different product, is to buy the product you need on-line, so we can send it to you immediately. Please make sure the product(s) are well packaged so will not damage in the post.
