Appearance, Function and Applications

The impulse switch has circular push buttons which when pressed a definate click is heard when turning the switch on/off, please note, this switch is not waterproof. If this product is needed for external use please buy the following items IP66 Wall Box and if needed, a Spacer.

The Impulse switches are suitable for controlling mains and low voltage lighting, halogen, incandescent GLS, LEDs and any other lighting that does not require dimming.

Impulse switches are for 1 way, or 2 way circuits, i.e. where the same lights are controlled by 2 seperate switches. If the lighting circuit is controlled by three switches, in seperate locations then one of the switches in the circuit must be an Intermediate Switch with four terminals enabling you to link all three switches together.

Limitations

This switch is not waterproof. If this product is needed for external use please buy the following items IP66 Wall Box and if needed, a Spacer.

For heavy duty applications such as controlling water heaters or cookers choose from our Heavy Duty Switches, 20 Amp and 45 Amp.

If you would prefer a dimmer instead, then choose one of the following dimmers: if dimming LEDs choose either the V-Pro, V-Pro IR, Multi-Point Remote, Multi-Point Touch, or V-Com Dimmer Series. If dimming mains and Low Voltage then choose V-Plus Dimmer Series.

Alternatively, if you need a dimmer to use in conjunction with this product, then choose one of the following dimmers: if dimming LEDs choose either the V-Pro, or V-Com Dimmer Series. If dimming mains and Low Voltage then choose V-Plus Dimmer Series, and if only dimming incandescent lighting, then choose V-Dim.

Cleaning

This product can be easily cleaned with a soft dry micro-fibre cloth. Never apply masking tape or other similar tape to the product. Avoid the use of any cleaning chemicals and always use a 'Gasket' on freshly plastered, painted or damp walls as the plates may tarnish. (Plaster can take up to 6 months to dry out). Unfortunately, if these Instructions are not followed, and the plate is damaged, it will void the product warranty.
