European VariGrid 2 gang 1 or 2 way 6 Amp Impulse Push in/out unit for use with VariGrid Single, Double and Triple Faceplates, which is part of Varilight's versatile VariGrid range for Europe. This insert would take up a 1 hole cut out on the face plate.

Appearance, Function and Applications

The impulse switch has circular push buttons, which when pressed, a definate click is heard when turning the switch on/off, please note, this switch is not waterproof.

The Impulse switches are suitable for controlling mains and low voltage lighting, halogen, incandescent GLS, LEDs and any other lighting that does not require dimming.

Impulse switches are for 1 way, or 2 way circuits, i.e. where the same lights are controlled by 2 seperate switches. If the lighting circuit is controlled by three switches, in seperate locations then one of the switches in the circuit must be an Intermediate Switch with four terminals enabling you to link all three switches together.

This Euro VariGrid product are part of a mix and match set that comprises of over 20+ different clip-in inserts, put together in your own configuration to create bespoke items. You have the ability, if required, to mix different colour face plates and inserts, to create your own unique blend of coolness in the home, office or anywhere.

This product is not waterproof, therefore can not be used externally or in areas of moisture.

If you would prefer a dimmer instead, then choose one of the following dimmers: if dimming LEDs choose either the V-Pro or V-Com Series; If dimming mains and Low Voltage then choose the V-Plus Dimmer Series, and if only dimming incandescent lighting, then choose V-Dim Thermal Dimmer Series.

Cleaning

This product can be easily cleaned with a soft dry micro-fibre cloth. Never apply masking tape or other similar tape to the product. Avoid the use of any cleaning chemicals and always use a Gasket on freshly plastered, painted or damp walls as the plates may tarnish. (Plaster can take up to 6 months to dry out). A Gasket can be made from the packaging the product comes in, or a plastic bag can be cut to stop the plate touching the plaster. Unfortunately, if these Instructions are not followed, and the plate is damaged, it will void the product warranty.
